वाटणा पुलाव / Green Peas Rice:
Ingredients
1 cup rice
2 cups water
1 cup green peas
1 onion sliced
Whole spices - Bay leaves, star anise, cumin seeds, cloves, cinamon
(you can use Biryani/Garam Masala instead)
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil/ butter
Method
In a pan add oil/butter & chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Add turmeric and whole spices. Roast the spices for few minutes. Add rice and saute. Now add green peas, & water. Add salt as per taste, a little butter. Cover the pan with a lid & cook rice till done. Serve with any raita/ yogurt of your choice. Enjoy!!
