रव्याचे लाडू  - Ravyache ladoo

Quick, delicious and mouth watering semolina ladoo specially prepared during Navratri !

Recipe below

Ingredients

3 cups Semolina



1 cup Besan/chickpea flour
2-1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp ghee/butter
8-10 cloves cardamom
20-25 raisins

Method
In a pan add butter and roast the semolina on a low flame till golden. Remove the mixture and keep aside to cool. Now in same pan add remaining butter & chickpea flour roast till golden brown in colour on low flame. When mixture is hot add 1/4 cup milk, and semolina and mix well.

Sugar mixture- (Ektari paak)

In another pan add sugar, and water only required so that sugar is submerged. Boil this mixture to form a sticky paste. Check the consistency on the index finger & thumb to form a single thread. This is known as (ektari paak).
Now add the above semolina and chick pea flour mixture and remove the pan off flame mixing all together. Add spices, raisins and let it cool. Make round dumplings and stick raisin in the centre. Rava besan ladoo is ready!
